Marcus Rashford urged to make PSG move and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Marcus Rashford has been urged to make the move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer as he considers his future at Manchester United.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Rashford is weighing up his options after being left out of the starting line-up against Manchester City on Sunday. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani were unavailable for the derby through injury, yet the England international was still only named on the bench.

Rashford has started just two of United’s last 11 Premier League games, and his absence from the starting XI at the Etihad has only caused frustration to grow. The academy graduate is not keen on leaving his boyhood club, although a lack of game time could force his hand.

Rashford has previously been linked to PSG, although transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed no new contact has been made by the Ligue 1 outfit. Former Rangers striker Ally McCoist has urged Rashford to consider a move to the French capital.

“I would [make the move],” McCoist told talkSPORT. “He’s got to look at himself. Why is he not in the team? It suggests he’s not doing enough for Ralf Rangnick for him to put him in the side.

“That said, you look at the club, you look at the surroundings, Manchester United are all over the place just now. If I’m Marcus Rashford, I’ve got to start thinking about myself. How’s he going to get back in that England squad? In a fresh challenge, somewhere like PSG. I’ve got that down as a good move."
