Marcus Rashford supported by Bruno Fernandes amid Aston Villa message after Man United transfer

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has kept a close eye on Marcus Rashford's loan stint at Aston Villa after he delivered another strong performance in the 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town.

Fernandes was United player on hand to like the post along with Ethan Wheatley while Villa's Morgan Rogers simply replied with a 'cooking emoji' to reflect Rashford's form. Head coach Unai Emery is confident that Rashford will be a key player for Villa, who are set to play five games within 14 days.

"He was getting better and feeling comfortable as well," Emery said. "He will help us for the next matches.

"Today he played 45 minutes, progressively he is getting fitter." With 69 minutes of game time so far, the 27-year-old is eyeing his first start under Emery when Liverpool visit Villa Park on Wednesday.

Arne Slot's side face another crucial match in their quest for the Premier League title, with Villa also eager to get back on the winning track and get closer to a European spot.

Villa, who are currently enjoying a 12-match unbeaten
