Marcus Rashford sets Manchester United target and issues Casemiro verdict after Carabao Cup win

Marcus Rashford is hoping that Manchester United's 2-0 Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle United at Wembley on Sunday afternoon will lead to further success.

The Reds got the job done before half-time thanks to a firm header from Casemiro and an own-goal from Magpies centre-back Sven Botman. Newcastle enjoyed most of the possession after the interval but never did enough to threaten David de Gea's record-breaking clean sheet between the sticks.

United's victory was inspired by an outstanding midfield performance from Casemiro. The Brazilian scooped the Man of the Match award and was a leader throughout the contest, meaning he earned special recognition from Rashford.

He added: "He makes a huge difference. His leadership and experience
