Marcus Rashford sent Manchester United transfer advice as Erik ten Hag 'problem' claim emerges

Marcus Rashford has been advised to consider a move from Manchester United to Chelsea following a challenging season.

Rashford scored just eight goals this season, with his disappointing performances seeing him dropped out of the England squad by Gareth Southgate for the European Championships. The forward also had a disagreement with manager Erik ten Hag after an unauthorised night out in Belfast.

These difficulties have sparked speculation that he might leave Old Trafford this summer, despite only signing a bumper new deal last year. While Paris Saint-Germain have been the team most strongly linked with him, a transfer to another Premier League team is also a possibility.

If Rashford decides to explore this option, William Gallas suggests that his former club Chelsea would be a good fit for him. He believes such a move would benefit all parties involved and that Rashford would be a better fit for Arsenal than Kylian Mbappe.

"There will always be quality players who are interested in signing for Chelsea, but we have to ask if Rashford would want to leave Man United. Nobody knows the reason, maybe he has a problem with Erik ten Hag," Gallas said in an interview with Genting Casino.

"If he leaves then Rashford could stay. A player like Rashford, we want to see the exciting young player who broke through on fire, running everywhere and scoring beautiful goals. He had a lot of commitment then as well, now he is not the same player.
