Marcus Rashford sends clear message to Ruben Amorim after Man United demand

Marcus Rashford produced a sensational performance for Manchester United against Everton. The 27-year-old, who netted during Ruben Amorim's first game in charge at Ipswich last weekend, scored twice for United as they thrashed the Toffees 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Despite a slow start, it was United who opened the scoring and Rashford was the man to find the net. In the 34th minute, the England international was fed the ball on the edge of the box by Bruno Fernandes before firing home via a deflection, leaving Jordan Pickford rooted to the spot.

United started to take control from that point and it didn't take them long to double their advantage, with Joshua Zirkzee making no mistake from close range. That was the Dutchman's first goal since the opening day of the season, having previously gone 16 matches without one.

Looking to continue where they left off before half-time, United scored a third moments after the break, with Rashford adding his second of the afternoon. The forward was played through down the right channel and he lashed the ball past Pickford and into the back of the net.

It was a rampant performance from Amorim's side and they were in dreamland when Zirkzee scored his second in the 64th minute. Amad Diallo won the ball back and fed Zirkzee in, and the former Bologna man kept his composure before sliding the ball home for just his third United goal.
