Marcus Rashford and Raphael Varane return - Manchester United predicted team vs Copenhagen

Manchester United are back in Champions League action on Wednesday as they face FC Copenhagen at Parken Stadium and Erik ten Hag will have Marcus Rashford available again.

The forward was a late omission from the matchday squad for Saturday's 1-0 win over Fulham, despite travelling to Craven Cottage with the squad. After missing the final training session before the trip south, he failed a late fitness test due to a knock.

United won that game 1-0 thanks to a late Bruno Fernandes goal and those who featured look to have come through unscathed. Furthermore, Rashford was spotted in full first-team training on Tuesday and was named in the 23-man squad that flew to Denmark that evening.

Ten Hag said the 26-year-old would have started against Fulham and he is expected to come straight back in on the right. Alejandro Garnacho was by no means United's worst winger at Craven Cottage and will be unfortunate to lose his place.

Antony continued to struggle on Saturday but Ten Hag said in Friday's press conference that the Brazilian needs rhythm. He is expected to start again over Facundo Pellistri, with Rasmus Hojlund hoping to build on three Champions League goals against his former side.

Ten Hag also confirmed on Friday that Casemiro will likely be out until after Christmas and so Sofyan Amrabat has a chance to make that position his own, despite a tough start to life at United. Christian Eriksen joined the manager in facing the media and could keep his place alongside Saturday's match-winner, Bruno Fernandes.
