Marco Odermatt adds another super-G win as he closes on record men's overall points haul at Soldeu

Marco Odermatt won the super-G at the World Cup Finals in Soldeu, edging him closer to a record overall points haul. Odermatt beat Austria’s Marco Schwarz into second and Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde into third. The time was enough to keep Kilde at bay as the Norwegian could only manage to finish 0.42 seconds slower — which was good enough for second. He soon found himself nudged down to third following Odermatt’s blistering run, though.

Kilde’s overall super-G finish wasn’t impacted as he remained second behind Odermatt with Vincent Kriechmayr in third.
