Map out Newcastle United's path to Premier League safety with our predictor

Newcastle United’s recent form has given them real hope that they could beat the drop this season.

The Magpies have picked up 11 points from their last five matches, which has moved them out of the bottom three for the first time since September.

Eddie Howe’s side followed up consecutive wins over Leeds United, Everton and Aston Villa with a solid 1-1 draw at West Ham on Saturday, which helped maintain their momentum.

Despite their current run, though, Newcastle have plenty of work still left to do in order to survive, with the sides now occupying the bottom three also showing some real fight this weekend.

Burnley defeated an impressive Brighton & Hove Albion side 3-0 on Saturday, while Watford also picked up a very good away win against Aston Villa by a goal to nil.

With big games against Brentford and Brighton to come for Newcastle in the coming weeks, it is paramount they continue to pick up points in order to stay above the dotted.

So, do you think that Newcastle have what it takes to beat the drop?
