Manuel Pellegrini’s 23 signings for Man City and where they are now

Manchester City enjoyed success during Manuel Pellegrini's managerial reign, with the Chilean winning a Premier League title and two EFL Cups.

He was replaced in the City hot-seat by current manager Pep Guardiola, who has transformed the club into one of the best teams in the world, while also winning numerous trophies.

During his three-year stint as City boss, Pellegrini brought in a total of 23 players to try and take City to the next level - with a number of his recruits proving to be a resounding success. However, there were several players who failed to deliver in Manchester and eventually departed the Etihad.

Kevin De Bruyne is the only Pellegrini signing still remaining at City, but what has happened to the other 22 signings after they left the club? And what have they achieved since walking out of the door?

Negredo scored 23 times in his debut campaign to help guide City to the Premier League title in 2014, and the Spaniard was a fan-favourite at the Etihad.

However, he wasn't able to cement his place the following campaign and was sent on loan to Valencia, who he then joined permanently before spells with Middlesbrough, Besiktas and Al-Nasr.

The striker currently plays his football in Spain with Cadiz, where he has registered 19 goals and nine assists since joining the club.

Midfielder Caceres, who was a City Football Group signing, never actually played for the Blues. He now resides in Australia and plays for Sydney FC.

Sagna spent three years with City after joining from Arsenal, winning the EFL Cup with the Blues in 2016. He left the Etihad one year later.
