Manuel Akanji returns as Rico Lewis decision made - Man City fans pick team vs Urawa Red Diamonds

Manchester City kick off their Club World Cup campaign against Urawa Red Diamonds on Tuesday evening and supporters have backed Pep Guardiola to go strong in search of silverware.

City flew out of Jeddah immediately after their disappointing 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace. Pep Guardiola's side were 2-0 up as late as the 75th minute but conceded twice, including an added-time penalty, to drop two more points.

Jeremy Doku also missed training on Monday and is expected to miss at least the semi-final, with supporters keeping Jack Grealish on the right after his third goal in as many Premier League appearances came on Saturday. Phil Foden was in the No.10 role and Bernardo Silva out wide at the Etihad, but the pair have been backed to switch roles this evening.

Alongside Bernardo in midfield, Rodri has been selected to provide the defensive stability with the introduction of Mateo Kovacic alongside one of just two changes from Saturday's draw. Rather than being dropped, Rico Lewis has been moved into right-back with Kyle Walker the one to miss out.
