Manhunt underway for wanted man who goes by two names

Officers have issued an urgent appeal to trace a Greater Manchester man wanted in connection with a weapons offence. Greater Manchester Police is searching for Jean Emmanuelle.

The 54-year-old also goes by name of John Dooley. GMP says he is wanted in connection with acquiring prohibited weapons.

Emmanuelle is known to have links to Wythenshawe, in south Manchester, and Sale, in Trafford. A photo of Emmanuelle has been shared on social media this morning (May 31) alongside the appeal to find him.

In the photo, he can be seen with short, dark-grey hair and facial hair. Anyone who sees Emmanuelle or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible.
