Manchester United Women vs Reading Women LIVE updates, team news and TV channel

Manchester United Women play Reading in the opening fixture of the Women's Super League on Saturday.

United are hoping to start the campaign with a win with a view to improving on their fourth-placed finish last season under manager Marc Skinner. United won both fixtures last season against Reading, 2-0 at home and 3-1 away.

United will be without their midfield talisman Jackie Groenen as she has secured a move to Paris Saint Germain, however, Nikita Parris who moved to Manchester from Arsenal this summer should be in line to make her debut.

Kick-off is at 12 pm and United will be hoping that their home field advantage will help them secure three points.
