Manchester United U18s vs Derby County U18s live FA Youth Cup team news and score updates

Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of Manchester United's FA Youth Cup tie with Derby County.

The young Reds will be aiming to secure a spot in round four with victory tonight. Adam Lawrence's side are in fine form in the league having won 10 from 10 so far this season and will be favourites to progress at Old Trafford.

United only enter the competition at this stage while Derby have already battled past Mansfield Town and Bolton Wanderers. Tonight's winners will travel to Swindon Town in the last 32 with that match set to be played next month.

United won the competition in 2022 when Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, both now first-team players, were part of the side that defeated Nottingham Forest in the final. The Youth Cup is for Under-18 players and United have a rich history in it having won the competition a record 11 times.

Kick-off tonight is 7pm and there is the possibility of extra time and penalties. We will be bringing you the team news and all the match updates so stay with us.
