Manchester United transfer news LIVE Ronaldo latest, De Jong to Man Utd updates and Lisandro Martinez transfer reaction

The 37-year-old held talks with Erik ten Hag on Tuesday, with agent Jorge Mendes also present. The results of those talks are unclear but as things stand, the player still wishes to leave the club.

Ten Hag has remained insistent that he remains part of his plans, towing the club's line that he is not for sale. That said, the new United manager is still keen to bring in an attacking reinforcement before the window closes.
