Manchester United are among the clubs to have been linked with him, with the Manchster Evening News understanding that they are interested in Nkunku but are not pressing ahead with any transfer deals until Erik Ten Hag has had a chance to have his say.

Leipzig director Oliver Mintzlaff though has looked to beat them to any enquiries with a clear message to clubs chasing Nkunku's signature.
