Manchester United transfer news LIVE Man Utd vs Newcastle reaction plus Casemiro and Varane latest

Manchester United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup last night after losing 3-0 at home to Newcastle.

But that news came alongside the absence of Raphael Varane, with Ten Hag explaining his absence was due to illness.

All eyes now turn to Saturday lunchtime and United's trip to Fulham. Ten Hag's side have lost five of their 10 Premier League games so far but return to Craven Cottage, the scene of their last win in London in November of last year.
