Manchester United set up an FA Cup final with rivals Manchester City after overcoming Brighton in their semi-final at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag's side secured a 7-6 penalty shootout victory over the Seagulls after a goalless 120 minutes. Victor Lindelof was the hero for the Reds after Solly March missed his spot-kick for Brighton. United will now take on Pep Guardiola's side in early June in what will be the first-ever Manchester derby in a domestic cup final.

While the Reds were unable to find a way past Roberto De Zerbi's side in normal time or extra-time, they still managed to respond to the disappointment of Thursday night with a victory. However, with a Premier League clash against Tottenham to come in midweek, Ten Hag will quickly switch his focus back to the league.

Away from the pitch, United are continuing to be linked with a host of players ahead of the summer transfer window, with strikers Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen both identified as options up front. Elsewhere, the Reds recently held talks with the representatives of Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong.
