The international break has now begun and Manchester United won't be in action again until April 2.

Plenty of the squad will now fly off across the world to link up with their national teams for a round of friendly fixtures or to compete in play-offs to earn a spot in the Qatar World Cup.

Even though United haven't been in action this past weekend there were still some interesting matches for fans to keep an eye on. Many were left impressed after managerial candidate Erik ten Hag's Ajax pulled off a late comeback against Feyenoord to stay ahead in the Eredivisie title race. Loanee James Garner also had a brilliant showing in Nottingham Forest's narrow FA Cup defeat to Liverpool.

Elsewhere, the signing of promising Brighton midfielder Toby Collyer has been confirmed.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has heaped praise on highly-rated youngster James Garner as he continues to impress on loan at Nottingham Forest.

The United academy graduate is in his second season on loan at the City Ground where he has already shone on their FA Cup journey, claiming the scalps of Arsenal and Leicester City. On Sunday, Garner was given a start by manager Steve Cooper as he looked to end the hopes of a quadruple for United's fierce rivals Liverpool.

Garner has gone from strength to strength under the former Swansea head coach. As a result of his glittering displays in the red of Forest, he has been singled out for more involvement at Old Trafford next season.

Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Toby Collyer from Brighton.

Collyer joins United on a three-and-a-half-year deal after failing to agree terms on a new contract with Brighton. It's understood
