Manchester United's pursuit of Frenkie de Jong may have taken another twist over the past 24 hours.

With just three weeks left until the transfer window closes, time is running out if United are to finally get a deal over the line for the Barcelona midfielder.

It seems though that a decision may be moving nearer. De Jong's agents were spotted in Spain on Wednesday as they arrived for talks over the player's future at the Nou Camp, with Barca still looking to register their new signings.

That could push the midfielder closer to an exit, although Chelsea are being heavily tipped to secure his services, which would come as a bitter blow for United.

Elsewhere, there's more news on Adrien Rabiot after United agreed a fee with Juventus, with reports in Italy suggesting he's reluctant to make a move to Old Trafford.

Reports in Italy suggest Adrien Rabiot is reluctant to join Manchester United.

The Reds have agreed a fee with Juventus, and are in a position to try and agree personal terms.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via JuveFC) though, Rabiot is reluctant to accept United's offer as he wants to play in the Champions League.

Frenkie de Jong's agent has been pictured arriving for a meeting with Barcelona's hierarchy.

The midfielder's future of course remains up in the air, with United having spent the summer chasing after him, while a fee was agreed last month.

Chelsea have also emerged as a
