Manchester United transfer news LIVE Andre Onana deal at 'advanced stage' as Victor Osimhen admission made

Manchester United are now just one day away from their first pre-season friendly, with their game against Leeds United in Oslo set to take place tomorrow.

It's been a little over five weeks since FA Cup final defeat against Manchester City closed the curtain on last season, but excitement is now building as to what lies ahead between now and the start of the season on August 14.

Mason Mount could make his first appearance in the famous red shirt tomorrow, having been involved in training again on Monday. He will join the rest of the non-internationals in playing a role against the Championship side.

Other major transfers are set to follow Mount through the door at Carrington soon, with negotiations for Andre Onana at the most advanced stage. Discussions for Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund are also thought to be advancing well.

And while they won't be involved on Wednesday, 15 of United's international players, including the likes of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, are expected back at Carrington within the next week.
