Manchester United transfer news LIVE takeover latest and injury updates ahead of Bournemouth clash

Manchester United have been handed an injury boost after Marcus Rashford was spotted in training ahead of Saturday's clash with Bournemouth.

The striker missed last weekend's 2-0 win over Wolves with a leg injury. United know a win over the Cherries coupled with a Liverpool loss against Aston Villa will see them secure a top four finish.

And Rashford isn't the only United player who seems to be edging closer back to the first-team with two other senior players who have been on the sidelines in recent weeks also taking part in the training session.

Meanwhile, each day that passes draws fans nearer to the conclusion of the takeover process. Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani submitted a final bid on Tuesday evening.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has also tabled his offer ahead of the final decision from the Glazers. His proposals are thought to include the option of the Glazers staying at United as minority shareholders.

The first player to possibly become aware of Erik ten Hag's authority at Manchester United is someone who might never play for the club.
