Manchester United transfer could spell major trouble as Marcus Rashford 'swap' deal speaks volumes

Manchester United are less than a week away from starting their pre-season as they gear up for a huge season under Ruben Amorim.

Some frustration is growing among United's fanbase with no sales and only one new face through the door. There is still plenty of time, though, for the Reds to sign players before their first competitive fixture of 25/26. United kick off at home to Arsenal on August 17.

United have reportedly made an approach to Inter Milan over a potential deal for defensive midfielder Davide Frattesi.

It is claimed that Inter's asking price has dropped from €50million (£43m) to around €35m (£30m) with Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid and Roma also reportedly interested.

Isaac Seelochan of The Manchester Evening News says: "The signing of Frattesi would spell trouble for Casemiro's future at Old Trafford. With Manuel Ugarte also at the club, it's unlikely the Brazilian will stay."
