Manchester United tipped to make four more signings including Frenkie de Jong

Manchester United remain odds-on to sign Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong during the summer transfer window.

De Jong, 25, was earmarked as a priority target for Erik ten Hag after bursting onto the European scene under the former Ajax manager during their time together with the Amsterdam giants. However, that pursuit is proving quite difficult for United to get over the line.

United have signed Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen so far this summer, while Lisandro Martinez's move is on the verge of completion. Ten Hag also wants to sign another defender and back-up goalkeeper to offset Dean Henderson leaving on loan.
