Manchester United star Anthony Elanga celebrates Atletico goal with first ever Twitter post
Anthony Elanga has continued celebrating his crucial goal for Manchester United with his first ever Twitter post.
The 19-year-old was once against the super sub for Manchester United as he came off the bench to equalise against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital last night to secure a 1-1 draw in the last-16 first-leg clash.
Joao Felix had given Atleti the lead with a bullet header after just seven minutes. United were largely second best in the first half but the Swedish substitute rescued the game for the away side.
In Elanga's first post on Twitter he marked what was a landmark night for the youngster.
He tweeted: "First Champions League goal.
"All to play for at OT (Old Trafford).
"Glory to God always."
His performance off the bench last night earned him praise from his interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
The German told BT Sport post-match: "He is playing as if a dream comes true. He is just a joy and it's fun to watch him play.
"I wish a few other players would take him as an example, or almost as a role model I would say, not because he is doing everything right, but because he's just enjoying himself on the pitch and that's what it's all about."
Manchester United return to action on Saturday when they host Watford at Old Trafford.
