Manchester United 'set to bid' for 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are reportedly set to bid for 16-year-old Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick.

According to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola (via The Sun), United are lining up a bid for the youngster who has scored five goals in four games for Brazil's U17s. They are not the only Premier League team believed to be interested in Endrick, with both Tottenham and Newcastle also preparing bids of their own for the teenager.

In Europe, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be eyeing up a move for the talented youngster. The report states that the striker, who is still yet to make his professional debut for Palmeiras, has a £35million release clause.

Last transfer window saw United spend a record £225million, meaning Erik ten Hag would have to heavily persuade the club's board over Endrick's potential in order to convince them to invest more than the £225million already spent on the six new signings that arrived at Old Trafford this summer.

Elsewhere, Mundo Deportivo report (via The Sun) that Barcelona are looking to negotiate a transfer fee with Atletico Madrid for Antoine Griezmann.

United have been heavily linked with the France international, who is currently on loan at Diego Simeone's side. However, reports have now emerged that the Catalan club are convinced that Atletico have already triggered the option-to-buy clause in the loan contract for the 31-year-old after he played more than 50 per cent of game time last season.
