Manchester United's Double Winning Team Voted Premier League's Greatest Ever

Manchester United's Premier League and Champions League double winners of 2007/08 have been voted the best team in Premier League history.

However, many have often believed that the 2008 version, who fell short in the FA Cup, were actually the better team and they've been voted the best.

Whilst the Treble winners of nine years before got a higher percentage of votes, the double winners got more votes than the team who won more.

As well as becoming European champions, both teams have the added achievement of being part of a run of three Premier League title wins in-a-row.

As well as the two United teams, Arsenal's undefeated season of 2003/04 came second, which is without doubt one of the great achievements of the Premier League's history.

Guardiola's Manchester team getting 100 points in the 2017/18 season is third on the list, City beat United by 19 points that season and followed it up by defeating Liverpool by a point the season after.

The Reds take up fourth on our list for their impressive win in 2019/20, which ended 30 years without the title heading to Anfield.

The Treble winners come next and they're followed by Chelsea's 2004/05 title winners, when Jose Mourinho's team only conceded 15 goals all season, which is an incredible achievement.

Leicester City's title win in 2015/16 rounds things off, with Claudio Ranieri's shock victory still considered one of the greatest surprises in sports history.
