Manchester United release statement in response to Mason Greenwood domestic violence accusations
Manchester United have released a statement after Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend accused him of domestic violence.
Harriet Robson uploaded a series of pictures and audio recordings to her Instagram on Sunday morning, with the caption: ‘To everyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood actually does to me.’
Robson is seen with bruises and cuts on her body which she claims were caused by Greenwood, 20.
Audio from another recording appears to show a man forcing Robson to have sex.
Manchester United have released a statement in which they stress they do not ‘condone violence of any kind’ and will make no comment until the ‘facts have been established’.
The Premier League club said: ‘We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media.
‘We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.’
Greenwood has scored 35 goals in 129 appearances for Manchester United and made his England debut in 2020.
