Manchester United release away kit for 2024/25 season

Manchester United have released their new away kit for the 2024/25 season, with the strip a 'celebration of the city the club calls home'.

The kit features an all-over M graphic - seen as a series of repeated circular patterns with a navy-blue base - and pays homage to United kits of the past. There is also a nod to the rivers that flow through Manchester - the Irk, Medlock and Irwell - with three lighter shades of blue on the collar.

Adidas' signature three stripes run down the sleeves, with the club's new sponsor, Snapdragon, the Adidas badge and the club crest on the front of the shirt in silver.

Sam Handy, Adidas' SVP of Product and Design said: “We have the honour every season to resonate with fans via special nods to their club and culture – and for the Manchester United away kit this season, it’s the city itself.

"Through features such as the collar and a nostalgic design that speaks to beloved design codes, we champion elements of the city and club’s history, finished with premium modern details to stand out on the streets, in the stands and on the pitch.”

The latest Adidas technology has been used to create the shirts, with a statement on the club website revealing the kit was 'created in close collaboration with players throughout the development process'.
