Manchester United 'prepared' to agree Benjamin Sesko deal and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are 'prepared' to agree a deal with Red Bull Salzburg worth £42million to sign striker Benjamin Sesko.

That is according to a report by Spanish news outlet Sport, who claim that United have taken 'pole position' in the quest to secure his signature. United have held discussions with the striker's agent, as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the September 1 deadline.

Sesko, who is only 19, is considered as one of the most exciting talents in European football and is not short on admirers. As well as United being interested in him, it has been widely claimed that both Chelsea and Liverpool are also keen.

The Slovenian, who netted ten goals in 36 appearances for Salzburg last season, scored against Liverpool in a recent pre-season friendly, meaning the spotlight has been shining on him just that little bit brighter. Uncertainty over Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Old Trafford means that United are in need of strengthening their striking options before the bell.

Meanwhile, United have made a 'shock enquiry' about Bayern Munich winger and former Manchester City star Leroy Sane. That is according to a report by the Mirror, who claim that United have looked into the prospect of the Germany international being available this summer.
