»The club have been working according to a strict budget because of financial fair play considerations but believe that they can deliver Hojlund this summer for around £50 million – although the deal might have to wait for resolution in the Glazer sale process. «Meanwhile, United are looking at the sale of one or all of Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, Fred, Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial, Alex Telles, Anthony Elanga and Eric Bailly in order to reset their financial fair play consideration.» Could Kane end up staying at Spurs? Tottenham have offered Harry Kane a «lucrative» new deal in a bid to convince their talisman to extend his stay in north London.

The 29-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal and could leave his boyhood club for free next summer. Kane is wanted by Manchester United but Spurs chairman is unwilling to sell to a rival Premier League club, while there is also interest from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
