Manchester United predicted line-up vs Bayern Munich as Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund start

Manchester United will be targeting a much-needed response when they welcome Bayern Munich to Old Trafford for their final Champions League group game on Tuesday night.

United, who were beaten 4-3 by the German heavyweights at the Allianz Arena in September, suffered an embarrassing 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday. The Cherries cruised to all three points thanks to goals from Dominic Solanke, Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi.

United were woeful from start to finish against Andoni Iraola's side, meaning it was far from the ideal preparation for the must-win clash with Bayern. The Reds are currently bottom of Group A and must beat the Bundesliga outfit to stand any chance of progressing to the last-16 of Europe's premier club competition.

United must win and hope that the clash between FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray finishes level. A win for either of those two sides, regardless of the result at Old Trafford, will see the Reds bow out of the competition.

Following the manner of Saturday's defeat to Bournemouth, manager Erik ten Hag is expected to make changes, but one of them isn't likely to come in goal. Andre Onana, who helped Inter Milan reach the final of the Champions League last term, is poised to continue his run of having started every game for United in all competitions this season.

In defence, Ten Hag may decide to hand a recall to Aaron Wan-Bissaka after he was left on the bench at the weekend. He has started United's last two games in the Champions League and his pace could be a useful weapon in a must-win game.
