Manchester United power rankings with Antony top as Bruno Fernandes answers Erik ten Hag

Manchester United bounced back from their disappointing 6-3 defeat in the Manchester Derby with a 2-1 win at Goodison Park against Frank Lampard's Everton on Sunday. Erik ten Hag's side now sit in fifth place in the Premier League with 15 points, just behind Chelsea.

After their shaky start, the team seem to have finally found their footing and in the first half against Everton, fans were finally able to see the style of football that Ten Hag has been wanting to implement for weeks. However it was not all smooth sailing as in the second half, United had to hang on as Lampard's side took more control of the game.

But how have the players faired across the season? Let's have a look at United's top five performers this season according to Whoscored's rankings:

5. Diogo Dalot

The right-back made some mistakes against Everton, but across the entire season, Dalot has come on leaps and bounds for United and that's why he sits fifth on the list. The defender has not quite added assists to his game just yet, but his passing from deep gives the team a good way of consistently getting the ball up the pitch.

4. Bruno Fernandes

Fernandes should have had two goals against Everton, however, on both occasions, Cristiano Ronaldo got onto the end of the pass before the midfielder from an offside position. The movement that was shown in these instances is what Ten Hag wants from the midfielder and if United's Portuguese Magnifico continues to follow this pattern, then the goal contributions will flow for him again.
