Manchester United player who Real Madrid wanted might start in Manchester derby
Manchester United are looking for another win against Manchester City in the Manchester derby.
United recorded a stunning win over City in the FA Cup final at Wembley last season and head into the first Manchester derby of this campaign on the back of a victory in Europe.
Ruben Amorim's side came from behind to win 2-1 against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday night, whereas City were defeated 2-0 by Juventus in the Champions League.
City have won just one of their last 10 games and are suffering a confidence crisis, but they are still eight points ahead of United in the Premier League and are favourites to win.

Here are the moments to look for in the Manchester derby on Sunday...
Leny Yoro made his full debut for United against Nottingham Forest last weekend. He was substituted in the 67th minute, shortly after Bruno Fernandes had scored to make it 3-2, and he wasn't specifically at fault for the goals, so his performance was graded as a respectable display.
Yoro made his highly-anticipated first appearance against Arsenal at The Emirates and there were glimmers of quality on that night, despite United conceding twice in the second half.
Amorim chucked Yoro into the deep end against Arsenal but he swam instead of sinking and that will give United's head coach confidence that he can start in the Manchester derby.
It would be a huge call to give Yoro a start against City but it wouldn't be a surprise. He has been signed to be at the heart of United's defence for the next decade and gained plenty of experience playing at the top level for Lille last season, despite still being such a young defender.
