Manchester United player ratings vs Real Sociedad with a 9/10 and Ayden Heaven good

Manchester United are through to the quarter finals of the Europa League after a 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad on Thursday.

Sociedad were awarded an early penalty after referee Benoît Bastien was advised to consult the pitchside monitor following a challenge from Matthijs de Ligt on Mikel Oyarzabal. Oyarzabal stepped up and made no mistake from the spot.

Minutes later United won a penalty of their own after a tackle from behind on Rasmus Hojlund. Bruno Fernandes sent Alex Remiro the wrong way to make it 1-1.

The third spot-kick of the game was awarded three minutes into the second half as Patrick Dorgu was brought down in the area and Fernandes converted the resulting penalty. Jon Aramburu was then sent off for the visitors for a challenge on Dorgu. Fernandes scored his hat-trick late on and Diogo Dalot added another to seal the win.
