Manchester United player ratings as Mason Mount and Andre Onana good vs Arsenal

Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal in a pre-seson friendly in California - and suffered a couple of injury scares too in the process.

United took the lead in the SoFi Stadium thanks to Rasmus Hojlund, but the Dane soon went off injured and was followed down the tunnel before half-time by Leny Yoro. Arsenal equalised through Gabriel Jesus in the first period.

Andre Onana

Made a good stop, albeit from an offside action, and was proactive outside the area. The only starter to play more than a half and impressively denied Leandro Trossard. 7
