Key header when Eriksen was shaping up to shoot and, although Brentford had spells of pressure, United kept a clean sheet. 7

Superb run-and-cross to assist Bruno Fernandes. Like his attacking academy predecessors, Elanga is not as effective running backwards as he is forwards. 6

Relocated to the left and stealthily met Elanga's cross to score his 10th goal of the season. Did little thereafter. 6

Juan Mata

A joy to watch on his final Old Trafford appearance, Mata enhanced United's attack and got more out of the forwards. Undeniably underused in his final three years. 8

Cristiano Ronaldo

Flexible off the ball and fluid on it, he was denied a goal by the slenderest of margins. Still got his goal with the penalty. Another fine performance. 8
