Manchester United key dates for 2022/23 with Premier League fixtures reveal and pre-season tour
Manchester United are already looking forward to the new season after enduring a grim 2021/22 campaign. The Reds finished well outside the top four in the Premier League and trophyless once again.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reign as manager ended in November, while Ralf Rangnick's subsequent stint as interim boss was not a success. United fans are now pinning their hopes on Erik ten Hag, who has moved to Manchester from Ajax to take on one of football's biggest jobs, and to try and guide United back to success.
Here are the key dates that you need to know for the forthcoming season ...
United are set to visit Thailand, Australia and Norway this summer. It will be United's first pre-season tour for three years after the pandemic caused logistical travel issues.
United will face Liverpool in Thailand before playing Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa in Australia. Ten Hag's side will then have seven days between their final tour game Down Under and a fixture against Atletico Madrid in Norway.
The schedule is rounded off by Ten Hag's first home match in charge when United host Spanish side Rayo Vallecano.
