Manchester United injury boost among four things spotted in training ahead of Bournemouth trip

Rashford looking sharp but has a new concern

Ten Hag seemed somewhat concerned when quizzed on how long Rashford could be out for ahead of last weekend's win over Wolves, sparking fears among supporters. However, the England ace looked razor-sharp during Thursday's session at Carrington.

In a session that was focused on shooting drills and precision in attacking scenarios, Rashford appeared to be moving feely without any signs of discomfort. He joined forces with the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jadon Sancho, exchanging passes with the pair of them before taking some shots at goal.

He looked comfortable and confident, offering optimism that he will be fine to participate against the Cherries on Saturday, although Ten Hag suggested in his press conference on Friday that he is a doubt for the long trip south due to illness.

Mini nets

Looking to improve the attacking output and shooting accuracy of every player in the squad, the mini nets were out at Carrington - and not just for the attackers. The likes of Raphael Varane and Wan-Bissaka joined in taking shots into the miniature nets.
