Manchester United have been given perfect chance to secure Erik ten Hag's dream full-back transfer

Everyone already knows what Manchester United need to do this summer.

Erik ten Hag has done a remarkable job in his first season at Old Trafford but it's clear United are still lacking some elite-level quality to compete at the very top of the table with juggernauts Manchester City. As a result, a crucial transfer window awaits.

A striker, of course, is the biggest priority. United are one of the lowest-scoring teams in the top half and their achievements this season have been made even more impressive by the fact they have mostly operated without a top striker. United have been hit hard by injuries in recent weeks and it shows how quickly they can be down to the bare bones. They look shakey without Raphael Varane
