Manchester United handed 'another chance' to sign Harry Kane and other transfer rumours
Manchester United have reportedly been handed a second opportunity to sign Harry Kane.
Erik ten Hag highlighted Kane as a top transfer target in the summer when it became clear he would be leaving Tottenham Hotspur. While Spurs were resigned to selling the centre-forward, they were keen to ensure he did not join a Premier League rival.
This stance prevented the Reds from bringing Kane to Old Trafford and the England captain would instead move to Bayern Munich. Since switching to Bavaria, the 30-year-old has been in sparkling form and has 29 goals from 30 appearances to his name.

Despite this, Bayern are struggling in the Bundesliga and sit eight points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. According to Football Transfers, the German champions are looking to make sweeping changes in the summer to start afresh and are open to selling some of their top stars to fund it.
The report claims it is unclear whether Kane would be allowed to leave as part of the changes but the Englishman may be willing to return to the Premier League to continue his pursuit of Alan Shearer's all-time goalscorer record. Elsewhere, another striker linked with United is Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee.
The 22-year-old is showing promise in Serie A and has ten goals to his name so far this campaign. While the Reds have been named as a frontrunner for his signature, Corriere Dello Sport reports Chelsea are also keeping a close eye on the Dutch international.
Along with Zirkzee, the report claims that the Blues are also keen on potentially adding Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Brentford's Ivan Toney to their squad.
