Manchester United fans will not recognise Lisandro Martinez after latest FIFA 23 update

Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is one of several players to have been left bald in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team following the game's latest patch update.

Martinez, who joined United from Dutch heavyweights Ajax during the summer transfer window, looks completely unrecognisable, so much so that his new-look makes him look more like comedian Matt Lucas. He, along with fellow United summer signing Antony, has been left without any hair and nothing like his actual self, ahead of his official face scan being set to be included in the next update.

The latest update has seen numerous players stripped of their hair and other recognisable features. Martinez did not have an official face scan when the game was launched last month, but his in-game character resembled him a lot more than what he now looks like now following the update.

It is suggested that the players who have been turned bald in the latest update will receive an official face scan in the next update, though a release date for when that will be is yet to be confirmed. Several gamers have taken to social media to express their disbelief and humour at seeing certain players look absolutely nothing like what they do in real life in Ultimate Team.

Originally, Martinez, just as he does in real life, had black hair and looked something life his actual self, although he did not have an official head scan. Antony, too, also looked a little more like himself, opposed to now being without any hair.
