Manchester United fans plan 73rd-minute walkout vs Brentford in protest against Glazers

Manchester United fans are once again set to protest against the Glazers ahead of Monday's clash with Brentford.

Much like ahead of the Norwich game last month, fans will use the final Old Trafford game of the season to make clear their desire to get rid of the Glazers. Sections of the support believe the Glazers' failure to fulfil some of their promises made following the European Super League collapse and fan group 'The 1958' are stepping actions up on Bank Holiday Monday.

The owners promised, among other things, that serious improvements would be made to Old Trafford, for which the club are starting to draw up plans for, but also that they would implement a fan share scheme - which is yet to materialise. And even then, fans don't believe that is good enough.

Not only will a march take place before the game, the fan group are also requesting fans leave the stadium in the 73rd minute, with the 17 remaining minutes representing the 17 years the Glazers have owned the club.

Fans who were at Old Trafford on Thursday night, or even those watching on the TV, will have been able to hear the anti-Glazer chants throughout the game against Chelsea, with thousands of seats remaining empty in the early stages. With some fans now planning a walk-out on Monday night, a powerful message is sure to be sent.
