Manchester United 'face' Premier League competition for Paulo Dybala and other transfer rumours

Manchester United are reportedly one of four Premier League clubs eyeing Juventus star Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

The Argentine forward is out of contract with the Italian giants in the summer and has already announced he will not be extending his stay in Turin. United have been linked with the 28-year-old in the past but could have their best opportunity to sign him this summer.

North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham are among the reported clubs vying for his signature. Eddie Howe's Newcastle United are also said to be interested, according to Italian outlet TuttoJuve.

Elsewhere, Birmingham Live have reported that a senior scout from Old Trafford was in attendance to watch Wolves' defeat to Brighton. The Reds have been repeatedly linked with Ruben Neves and Yves Bissouma and the scout watched on as the Portuguese international was brought off at half-time as Bissouma scored the third goal in a 3-0 win.

United are eager to improve the heart of their midfield and the Manchester Evening News reported in January that the position had already been highlighted as the 'biggest problem'. Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic and Fred have all come under fire for their performances this season.
