Manchester United 'face Liverpool battle' for £102m star and other transfer rumours

Manchester United will be busy preparing for a swift return to Premier League action this week.

The midfielder has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season, but it has been stated that the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo as a first-team regular has seen the teenager be viewed as a key figure in midfield for the future at United. As a result, Eriksen's long-term future at Old Trafford is uncertain.
