Manchester United eyeing Victor Osimhen teammate in huge 'double swoop' and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are eyeing a major double swoop of Napoli stars Victor Osimhen and Kim Min-jae, according to reports.

United's interest in Osimhen has been long-standing and well-documented, with the Nigerian striker on a list of forward options being eyed by Erik ten Hag as he looks to add a world-class finisher to his side. MEN Sport understands that Harry Kane has been earmarked as the prime target but the Napoli talisman will not be far behind on that list.

However Ten Hag may also be in the market for defensive reinforcements, with at least one of Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof potentially departing in search of more regular football. and Football Insider reports that eyes may already be on Napoli and their defender Kim Min-jae.

A deal for both could see the Reds fork out close to £150million with Osimhen alone expected to cost upwards of £100m, while the report states that Kim Min-jae has a £43m release clause - although it will only be able to be activated for the first two weeks of July.

Elsewhere, Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws reports that United are among a number of sides interested in Anderlecht goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

David De Gea's future at Old Trafford remains uncertain, with the 32-year-old's current contract set to expire in June. Both club and player have previously seemed confident that a new short-term deal can be agreed upon, but without confirmation, it stands that the Spaniard will leave as a free agent.

De Gea's contract situation notwithstanding, the likely sale of Dean Henderson will leave United short of goalkeeping options and Ten Hag may be inclined to add young talent to his ranks.

Verbruggen is just 20 years old
