Manchester United are making huge plans that could potentially see Old Trafford being knocked down and rebuilt, which could leave both Arsenal and Chelsea behind. According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils are close to appointing preferred partners for what could potentially be the biggest redevelopment project in the club's history.

One of the proposals made is for Old Trafford to be completely rebuilt. Should this happen, it would see the total stadium capacity rise from 76,000 to approximately 90,000 - more than double Chelsea's Stamford Bridge capacity.

Currently, Arsenal's home, the Emirates Stadium holds 60,000. Whilst Old Trafford already holds more seats than both the Gunners and the Blues, the proposed increase would make the margin significantly more substantial - and give the club a huge boost in terms of revenue.
