Manchester United eight-player loan round-up including Bailly nightmare as Telles kicks on

Alex Telles secured his team’s first clean sheet of the season in Sevilla’s goalless draw with Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The left-back is spending the season in southern Spain as he pushes for a place in Tite’s Brazil World Cup. The 29-year-old had a rough start to life at his new club, with Sevilla failing to win any of their first four La Liga matches.

This changed thanks to a 3-2 triumph over Espanyol at the weekend when Telles featured for a fifth time. His sixth appearance ended in disappointment as the visitors could not unlock Copenhagen but Telles recorded his first shutout throughout a while 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Eric Bailly had a Tuesday night to forget in Marseille when his club fell to a 1-0 loss to Frankfurt. The Ivorian was at fault for the goal and was forced off with injury in the second half as the French club go two Champions League games without a point.
