Manchester United drop triple Tottenham team news hint as Ruben Amorim makes radical decision
Manchester United return to Carabao Cup action this Thursday night, attempting to secure a passage to the competition's semi-finals with a tie against Tottenham Hotspur standing in their way.
Ruben Amorim's side travel to north London with both sides well aware of what is at stake. The new Man United boss has a chance to claim silverware in his first season in charge, whilst counterpart Ange Postecoglou heaped pressure on himself early in the term when stating he always wins silverware in his second year with a club.
But as this is Amorim's first cup tie since taking control, it will ultimately have to be seen what priority he gives the competition compared to the Premier League or Europa League campaigns.

The Brazilian has not started a match for Amorim since the Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt on November 28. But actually on that occasion he did so as the team's wide right full-back rather than the attacking winger, so this decision to replace Amad so soon after his heroics is still not crystal clear.
