Manchester United dream forward line for 2025/26 after Bryan Mbeumo signing

Manchester United's forward line could look very different by the time next season gets underway.

United are in the early days of the summer transfer window and have already got some of their business over the line. Matheus Cunha has arrived from Wolves after United agreed to pay the £62.5million release clause in the Brazilian's contract.

With Cunha signed, United are now turning their attention to securing the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. The Manchester Evening News have reported that United are interested in signing the Cameroon international, with the player himself thought to be keen on a move to Old Trafford.

With Cunha already signed, the addition of Mbeumo would certainly add valuable reinforcements to the United forward line. It would also give Ruben Amorim plenty of options at his disposal going into next season.

United are still reported to be in the market for a new striker, having expressed an interest in signing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town before Chelsea swooped in to agree a £30million deal.

Despite this setback, United continue to be linked with signing a new striker, who would complete the forward line rebuild if a deal was to be agreed. For the time being, though, Amorim can prepare to have Cunha at his disposal and could welcome Mbeumo in the near future.

If United were to sign Mbeumo, he could take up a spot in the centre forward role as he has previously with Brentford. He is also capable of performing on the right wing when required, which would give United some valuable versatility in the forward line.

With Mbeumo as a centre forward, Amorim could opt to go with Cunha alongside Amad Diallo just behind in advanced midfield roles. If this was to be the case, it would allow Amorim to
