Manchester United discovered a problem with Lisandro Martinez's foot injury

Erik ten Hag admits that Manchester United discovered a "problem" with Lisandro Martinez's recovery from a metatarsal fracture.

Martinez sustained the injury in United's 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals on April 13 and he underwent surgery five days later.

The 25-year-old returned to the side in the opening pre-season friendly against Leeds United on July 12 but Martinez has struggled for form and he suffered a setback in the defeat at Arsenal on September 3.

Antony will return to United's Carrington base for training on Saturday now he is available for selection again after a leave of absence.

The 23-year-old voluntarily attended an interview with Greater Manchester Police on Thursday afternoon amid allegations of abuse made by a former girlfriend. Antony denies any wrongdoing.

United have decided to make Antony available for selection again as he has not been arrested, detained or charged by police in England or Brazil, where he has cooperated
